In 2023, GLF set up a gherkin export processing unit at Thiruvannamalai, north of Tamilnadu, closer to Chennai port terminal over a three acres of land area.

Our factory has a 10,000 square foot processing area for acidified gherkins and other vegetables, a 3,000 square foot area for packing fermented gherkins, and a 10,000 square foot shade net for storing processed vegetables.

The factory has a vibrator, Grader, vegetable washer, slicing, dicing, cutting and pouch sealing machines and fully fledged can line with three media preparation tanks for vinegar, acetic acid and brine media to cater to different markets.
